Arizona Game and Fish Department: Focus Wild Arizona Wild Kids - Environmental Laws: What Are They?

The Endangered Species Act is one of the United State’s most important environmental laws.

Here you will find a general overview of several important pieces of environmental legislation:

Lacy Act (1900), Migratory Bird Treaty Act (1918), Eagle Protection Act (1940, 1962), Marine Mammal Protection Act (1972), Endangered Species Act (1973), Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (1975),

Wild Kids Activity Sheets:

These activity pages were originally created more than a decade ago. Every few months, a set of activity pages focused on a particular topic would be mailed to interested individuals. Each set consisted of age specific reading material and activities for students in grades K-3, 4-6, and 7-12.

“Wild Kids” is no longer produced. Over the years, more than thirty different issues were developed. Most have been recovered from our archives. However, some are still “missing in action.”
