In this episode of STEM Unplugged, we will be sharing ways to Keep Cool with STEM over the summer. Our guests are John Adams, Deputy Director of Biosphere2, Sinda Sutton and Stefany Boleyn, Park Rangers at Kartchner Caverns State Park and Vanessa King, Director of Education at Tucson Children’s Museum. Each unique location and facility allows for hands on learning and immersive experiences with Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM).
In this episode we are joined by STEAM experts Garth Paine, a professor of digital sound and interactive media at the School of Arts Media and Engineering at ASU and Evan Tobias, an associate professor of Music Learning and Teaching at Arizona State University’s School of Music, Dance and Theater, who share about ways to collaborate using music.
STEM Unplugged – STEM over the Summer was a discussion with collaborative nonprofit partners at Lowell Observatory, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and Pathways to Learning. In this episode, Kelly, Tom and Elise explored ways for community members to engage in hands on STEM to find their identity as learners.
