Scottsdale Public Library: Photographing Nature in the Desert

Join award-winning photographer Kathryn Dannay to learn how to improve your desert photography.  Focusing on photographing nature, Kathryn will review composition guidelines, and then walk through the different nuances of photographing landscapes, versus flora versus fauna. She will also cover tips and tricks and gear suggestions while sharing beautiful photos taken in and around the McDowell Mountains. If you are new to photography, this presentation will provide a great overview for getting started. If you are an intermediate photographer, this will be a good refresher with the opportunity to pick up a few tips.
