Phoenix Public Library: Thursday Maker Hour – Pantographs

Join us at MACH1 for Thursday Maker Hour: This month our Maker Focus is Mathematics!  

Join us this week to combine math with science with a DIY pantograph! We will be making a pantograph that allows you to copy your image but in 2 different sizes! Ancient Greeks used this machine to trace their images based on the design of the parallel levers.

This program is a walk-in program for children of all ages and their families.

  • Audience: Kids (6 - 8 years), Teens (14 - 18 years), Tweens (9 - 13 years)
