Mesa Public Library: Summer Gardening in Arizona

It is possible to have a productive vegetable garden during the summer heat.  Learn the fundamentals to focus on for success during Arizona’s hot, dry summer months.

This program is co-sponsored by Mesa Public Library and Mesa Urban Garden*.

*Recently designated as a People’s Garden through a USDA grant.

This program supports the City of Mesa’s Climate Action Plan (MCAP), a Mayor and Council priority initiative to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, build resilience in our community, and address the negative outcomes of a changing climate.
