Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Wildflowers & Butterflies Hike
Join Ranger Kevin for a roughly 4.2-mile hike along the Bajada, Goat Camp, South, and Mule Deer Trails.
We’ll be pausing to look at wildflowers and butterflies as well as a variety of desert plants and animals along the way. The trail is rated easy-moderate with some change of elevation. Please wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes and bring plenty of water. Hats and sunscreen are also highly recommended. We’ll meet at the Bajada Trailhead (Area 2). Bathrooms are available at the trailhead. NO pets, please.
Limit 20 participants. To register, please call the White Tank Nature Center at (602) 506-2930 ext. 5. Please be sure you register for the 1 p.m. Wildflower/Butterfly hike.
