Citizens Water Advocacy Group: Making Waves – Updates in Arizona Water Law

Join experienced Water Law practitioners as they explore current issues. Groundwater Update: New AMAs/INAs -Emily Petrick, Deputy Counsel, Arizona Department of Water Resources, examines the new designations of the Douglas Active Management Area (AMA) and the Hualapai Valley Irrigation Non-Expansion Area (INA).  Attendees will come away with an understanding of the requirements associated with AMAs and INAs, the impact to groundwater users in those areas, and the procedures for related applications.

Colorado River Panel: Your Questions Answered on the Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement. In recognition of the risks facing the Colorado River Basin and the potential for continued low-runoff conditions, the Bureau of Reclamation has announced its intent to issue a Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (SEIS) and the development of interim operating guidelines for Glen Canyon and Hoover Dams. Faculty:
