Julie Anand and Damon Sauer, Phoenix-based collaborative artists, will share two projects that connect art with science and history. With a special focus on Arizona, they will cover the system of Cold War satellite calibration targets related to the current satellite technologies orbiting the earth. They will also present on their current project, Echoes of the Passage, which examines the mark-making connected with artifacts such as orbiters and space capsules that have been to the void and back.
