Come out to Kartchner to celebrate National Cave & Karst Day.

There will be activities throughout the day. The day will end with an amazing talk about a day as a cave scientist and what we have learned by Cave Resource Manager Chelsea Ballard.

All programs will be located in the Discovery Center. The day-use fee of $7 applies for visitors without a camping or cave tour reservation.

9-9:30 a.m.: Caves & Karst Landscapes

10-10:30 a.m.: Cave Resource Equipment

11-11:30 a.m.: Squeeze Box: a practice to crawl into tight spots.

Museum Activities 

9 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.: Tom Olson’s Geology for Kids

9 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.: Kids crafts
