Arizona – Sonora Desert Museum: Bird Photography – Beyond the Basics

Bird Photography Beyond Basics is designed for bird photographers wanting to be more successful and creative when photographing birds.

What makes bird photography challenging is the fact that birds are small, fast and shy. What that means is that a better understanding of both birds and photography is critical in creating consistently outstanding results. Bird Photography Beyond Basics is designed to guide your understanding of your equipment for bird photography as well as your understanding of bird behaviors. Steve Vaughan, a professional nature photographer and ornithologist, will share techniques he uses to create dynamic bird images. This will be a combination of in class lectures and hands-on photography with your own equipment.
