Mesa Public Library: Teen Mental Health Workshop – Mindful Stroll
September 24 @ 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Free
September is Suicide Prevention month. Join us weekly as we introduce new topics to support and understand mental health and learn new techniques to cope and protect your overall well-being.
This week teens will clear their minds and enjoy the views while on a mindful stroll around the Eastmark Great Park. Walking is a simple yet powerful activity that can significantly improve mood, reduce stress, and alleviate symptoms of anxiety and depression. When life gets hard and things feel heavy, taking a walk, breathing in fresh air, and taking in the world around you can be all you need to clear your mind and keep moving forward.
This program is for ages 12-18.
