September 14, 2024 @ 7:15 am - 9:15 am

Free with Park Fee
Join Ranger Shaun for a peaceful morning walk around the lake to reconnect.

An easy, slow-paced walk around the Palm Lake loop with plenty of time to stop and stretch, breathe, and be for a bit. Ranger Shaun will do some guided stretching and meditation along the way to help teach you how to bring mindfulness into nature. Restrooms and water are available adjacent the Visitor Center Parking Lot. Hassayampa River Preserve does not allow pets. Closed toed shoes and water bottles are required. Sunscreen and wide brimmed hats are recommended.

MEETING LOCATION: Visitor Center Limit 10 participants. To register, please call the Visitor Center at (602) 506-2930 ext. 9 with your name, phone number and number of people attending. If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please call the Visitor Center ASAP so we may contact those on the waiting list. Registration for this program will close on 9/12/24.

Please note: Summer programs may be canceled on short notice due to severe weather, including extreme heat events. The MC Parks website is the best resource for verifying the program’s current status, so please check the program listing prior to departing for your scheduled program.
