Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Quiet Walk

Would you like a break from noise and stress and a new way to enjoy nature? The Quiet process can help. It blends nine techniques or influences that research indicates have a calming or uplifting effect. This program explores 0.7 miles (1.4 total out and back) of the Spur Cross and Metate Trails and features a 20-minute meditation session at the Solar Oasis. Restrooms are available at the main staging area (covered picnic tables just past ranger station) where we will meet. For maximum comfort, wear comfortable clothing and shoes, and bring water (and optional mat or towel to sit on). No pets please.
MEETING LOCATION: From the main trailhead parking at Spur Cross Ranch Conservation Area, follow the signs and old road a few hundred feet down to the trail junction where there are porta-potties and a few picnic tables beneath a ramada.
