Nature Play & Story Time: Stick Around! In this activity, families explore desert sticks through building, sorting, and creating nature art. Children use their senses, practice fine motor skills, and learn how sticks are part of the desert environment.
This is a nature-inspired class for children ages 2-5. Each session invites children to explore unique materials for art, construction, science, literacy, and more. Whether painting with mud, building with sticks, experimenting with water, or storytelling with found objects, children will engage in hands-on discovery that nurtures creativity, problem solving, and sensory exploration.
Nature Play & Story Time: Lizards – The Original Sunbathers Families will observe and pretend to be desert lizards, learning how they move, stay cool, and hide in their environment. Through playing games and activities, children build body awareness, practice observation skills, and discover how lizards survive in the desert.
Littles Count: Big Change introduces kids (ages 2 – 5 years of age) to financial literacy early. Through storytelling and play, we start with understanding numbers, what they are, how to work with them and how to make decisions. Families will leave with take-home activities to help kids get started and keep going!
