The Sulphur Springs Valley south of Willcox entertains a number of winter visitors, not just thousands of Sandhill Cranes but also shorebirds and raptors.  We’ll be driving around the fields and fallow areas looking in particular for Thick-billed Longspurs, Bendire’s Thrashers, perhaps even Mountain Plover.  Bring water, snacks and lunch; scope would also be useful....
