Pima County Public Library: Garden Talk – Planting the Rainbow

Join us for a free gardening presentation by Pima County Master Gardeners from the University of Arizona Cooperative Extension.

Today’s topic is Planting the Rainbow! We all know that ‘eating the rainbow’ is a great way to plan for a healthy meal. But can you “grow the rainbow” in our desert climate? Join us to learn what the colors in our fruits and vegetables mean and how you can plan and plant your garden to harvest every color of the rainbow throughout the year. This is a fun class that is designed to get you thinking in new ways about what to plant and when. Please note that this class tends to run longer than 1 hour.
