Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Creatures of the Night Hike – Super Spooky Edition
October is spooky season, so get yourself into the Halloween spirit with this exciting, roughly 2-mile night hike along the Cottonwood trail. If you can find it in a witch’s cauldron, we’ll be looking for it: scorpions, spiders, snakes, bats, centipedes, toads, insects and more! The trail is rated easy with little loose rock, uneven surfaces, or elevation change. Please bring water and wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes. Bring flashlights; black UV lights are optional.
MEETING LOCATION: Cottonwood Day Use Area near the restrooms.
Limit 15 participants. To register, please email Ranger Kevin at Kevin.Thorson@maricopa.gov with your name, phone number and number of people attending.
