Maricopa County Library District: West Valley Astronomy Club Presents – STAR PARTY

The desert southwest is the ‘astronomy capital’ of the United States. Here the sky is always a source of spectacle, inspiration, and discussion.

Astronomers and quality optical telescopes provide a unique experience of direct observation of the Moon, planets, their moons, galaxies, star clusters, and gaseous nebulae. You’ll be awed by this natural spectacle! The West Valley Astronomy Club leads this stargazing event with high powered telescopes.

BRING LAWN CHAIRS and/or picnic blankets to enjoy the sounds of jazz under the stars!
