Yavapai County Free Library District: Sedona Library Longevity Society
December 12, 2024 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Free
The Sedona Library Longevity Society is a social gathering of community members dedicated to exploring new approaches towards achieving healthy longevity. How we age becomes increasingly important as we live longer. We will cover new perspectives on aging-well and how they can benefit us as individuals and those around us. Attendees are encouraged to share personal experiences as they test new skills each month, focused on proven habits meant to help us age better. Join this micro-school of longevity, where you are both the student and the teacher!
This month’s topic is…Celebration!
Longevity Society Holiday Social
After one full year of expanding our knowledge on the topic of aging-well, it is time to reward our efforts! What first began as a four-week series to share information from experts on healthy aging, grew into a monthly meet-up which allowed us to explore a vast variety of subjects such as: biological age, supplements, stress, inflammation, movement, balance, meditation, and much more. It has been a wonderful and educational community journey! As the 2024 year comes to a close, it is time to celebrate the wisdom we’ve gained, and most important of all, the people we’ve met along the way.
The Longevity Society invites you to our First Annual Holiday Social. There will be Christmas treats, music, and room to bust a move! All community members are welcome, even if this is your first time attending a Longevity Society meet-up!
Hosts: Geno Kelly and Patty Kelly
SLLS Meets once a month for one hour.
Film and guest speaker events will be scheduled separately.
