This class provides Automated External Defibrillator (AED), Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) for Adult, Child and Infant, and First Aid certification under the G2015 guidelines and is not intended for those needing a BLS certification, such as medical professionals.

Hybrid or blended certification incorporates web-based instruction of 2.5 hours and an in-person classroom skills portion for a complete certification course. Participants will receive an email info@hsi.com with a link to the web-based instruction within one week before the in-person class. The web-based instruction portion must be completed before the skills session. Participants will have up to 90 minutes to successfully demonstrate or teach back the required Adult, Child, Infant CPR skills on supplied manikins. Upon the completion of both portions of the course, the participant will receive an email with the electronic/digital certification card, valid for two (2) years, and instructions to download the student resource book, also included in the course.

Participants must wear masks and use gloves before demonstrating on the manikins. All manikins are sanitized using disinfectant.
