Tempe Public Library: Social Media and the Business of Writing

Learn how to build your author brand and grow your readership using social media. This session covers when to start your campaigns, what platforms to focus on, and how to use free tools to effectively promote and sell your books.

Author Leslie Rager combines her experience in the restaurant industry with a humorous take on life and murder to bring her cozy mystery characters to life. With over twenty-five years in software design, development, and corporate training, Leslie helps authors shine by showcasing their personalities and books in website design and development. Her background as a corporate technical writer equips her with a keen eye for detail, which she brings to her role as an editor.

The program promotes writing by connecting professional authors to serve as Writers in Residence. Attend to learn new skills in writing and publishing. Visit: www.tempepubliclibrary.org/TempeWrites.
