Southwest Wings Summer Festival: F1 Chasing Rarities Field Trip

Join author and professional guide Rick Wright on an exciting day-long excursion to see what’s new or unusual in SE Arizona. This trip’s destinations will be based on recent bird reports in the area as well as the needs of the group. With no pre-planned destination, Rick will be free to chase after what’s available in any direction or location. The trip may include any of the areas covered by our regular trips and may try a new location to see what is available. Bring water, hat, sun protection, and wear trail shoes. PLEASE NOTE: This trip may enter Fort Huachuca and a visitor’s pass is required. If you are eligible, please obtain your pass before the trip as there may not be time to get one on the day. See Visitor access

Meeting place: The south-east entrance of The Mall at Sierra Vista, 2200 El Mercado Loop, Sierra Vista. Turn west onto Calle Marcancia from Highway 92, by the Wells Fargo bank, and the entrance is straight ahead. Map link
