At the After School Nutrition Program learn how to make healthy choices!
Presented by the University of Arizona Cooperative Extension for Nutrition Education, kids and tweens will meet Tuesdays in September to learn about building balanced meals, smarter snack choices, nutrition labels, and more.
Each week the presenter will demonstrate a new recipe and assist as participants learn to cook with common pantry items!
Program times and dates: September 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM
Children and tweens ages 8 to 13 welcome.
This program can be joined in the first week and participants are encouraged to attend all five meetings.
