The After School Nutrition Program is presented by the University of Arizona Cooperative Extension and Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program! Join us at the Eckstrom-Columbus Library on Wednesday, August 19th from 3:00 to 4:00 PM to register for the program and take a sneak-peek at the recipes that kids and tweens will be making during the 5-week course.
In person registration is preferred, however, if unable to register in person please call the Eckstrom-Columbus branch at (520)-594-5285 between August 19th and August 22nd. Space is limited and registration may end early if the maximum number of participants is reached.
The After School Nutrition Program is open to children and tweens ages 8 to 13 and will be held every Tuesday afternoon, beginning September 1st through September 29th, from 3:30 to 4:30 PM. Each week children will learn about a different aspect of nutrition, be introduced to a recipe through a demonstration, and then be able to try it themselves!
