Phoenix Herpetological Sanctuary: Neonate Tortoise Day Camp

Spend the day with over 500 tortoises while learning all about our most commonly surrendered animals! Tortoise day camp is filled with animal interactions, games, and fun crafts for all!

Tortoise Day camp will focus on the main differences between turtles and tortoises. If you like to spend time outside with tortoises, this is the day for you! Tortoise camp will use a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, & Math) oriented curriculum to do activities like crafts, games, animal interactions, and more! Your child’s safety is of the utmost importance to us, which is why we only handle proven education animals and our counselors have received advanced training on all of these animals.

Cost: $60 per day for Neonate  

Your registration for day camp includes:

• 2 snacks per day (1 in the morning and 1 in the afternoon) & water
• a day full of exciting reptile crafts, activities, and interactions

Interactions: YES with nonvenomous animals, this is an essential part of our camp
