Phoenix Herpetological Sanctuary: Mammal Tour

Are you mammal obsessed? This is the tour for you!

Our Private Mammal Tour is a great option to meet some of our furry friends, watch feeding demonstrations, and learn more about the mammal residents at PHS!

Your VIP-Inspired Experience Includes:

  • Capybara interaction for the group. Meet, pet, and feed our adorable capybara “Spud”!
  • Opossum interaction for the group. Meet, pet, and feed “Ozzie” the rescue Opossum!
  • Feeding demonstration with one of our mammals! Our mammal keeper will provide behavioral enrichment item(s) to a select mammal for the tour to watch. Mammal selected is dependent on behavior and activity.
  • Tour highlighting our mammals above as well as red foxes, coatis, kinkajous, and our bat-eared fox!

PLEASE NOTE: Mr.Chow the otter may or may not be out on display, he is old and needs more alone time to keep him comfortable. Thank you for your understanding.
