National Park Service: Ranger Rendezvous | The Secret Life of Bats | Guided Ranger Walk

Discover the nocturnal wildlife that fills our night sky. Walk along the rim to learn about Grand Canyon’s only flying mammal – bats – and their key role.

This program will be outdoors; you will meet the ranger at the Park Headquarters Building, and then follow a paved trail 0.4 miles to the rim of the canyon. Parking is available outside the Park Headquarters Building in Lot A. Children must be accompanied by an adult. All programs are subject to cancellation due to inclement weather.

Meeting location is at the front of the Park Headquarters Building, by the large sign that reads “Grand Canyon National Park Headquarters.” Parking is available is Lot A, adjacent to Park Headquarters.
