Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Yavapai Sunrise Hike

Come walk beautiful Yavapai trail in the hour before sunrise in a vainglorious attempt to make the top before the 7:01 sunrise. While we may not make it, it’ll be fun to try! The view will be stunning either way and we’ll most like see some cool stuff along the way. Join Ranger Shaun for his latest Desert Adventure! The hike will be 3 miles total on a moderate difficulty trail. There are bathrooms and water at the trailhead. Dressing in layers is recommended as the temperature can change rapidly in the early morning and parts of the trail may be shaded. Closed toed shoes strongly encouraged.
MEETING LOCATION: Cottonwood day use area/Yavapai Trailhead

If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please email back ASAP so those on the waiting list may be contacted. Registration for this program will close on 11/15/23.
