Join Ranger Derik on a 3 mile out and back hike as the sun goes down and learn about the wildlife that calls the Sonoran Desert home. Once the stars come out the blacklights turn on as we hunt for the 3 species of scorpion found at Estrella Regional Park. The trails are rated as moderate and can be rocky loose and steep in some places. Please make sure to have a flashlight and extra batteries along with plenty of water. If you have a blacklight once the sun goes down, you can help with the scorpion hunting! Bathrooms and water fountains are available at the at the trailhead. Please no pets
