Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Morning Fitness Hike

Join ranger Derik on a strenuous uphill hike to Wind Cave and take in the views of the mountains and the city.
We will hike the Wind Cave Trail with 800ft of elevation and at a distance of 3 miles it is rated as difficult. The trail is steep and rocky, so it is encouraged you bring proper footwear and if balance is an issue trekking poles are great to have. Please bring plenty of water and a snack for the top cave. Water and bathrooms are available at trailhead.
MEETING LOCATION: Wind cave parking lot, next to the bathrooms, by the kiosk.
Limit 20 participants. To register, please call the Visitor Center at 602-506-2930 ext. 4 with your name, phone number and number of people attending. If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please call the Visitor Center ASAP so we may contact those on the waiting list. This program is all ages. Registration for this program will close on 2/21/24.
