Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Kids Sonoran Scavenger Hunt

Come beat the heat and search for animals, plants and artifacts with your kids in and around the Nature Center!
Pick up a scavenger hunt sheet at the ranger table just inside the front doors of the library. Ranger Derik will have skulls, animal pelts and other artifacts hidden around the nature center and outside on a nearby section of Mule Deer path for your kids to find. Take fun pictures with the items and make memories as you work your way through the scavenger hunt. Upon completing the list your kids will be able to choose from a variety of small prizes. Please make sure you have water and sunscreen – it’s the summer after all!
