Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Edible Plant Hike

We will hike 4.3 miles out and back of the Scenic Trail starting from the Trailhead Staging Area. The trail is rated as moderate and will have sandy, rocky, and uneven sections so please wear proper footwear and if you need them trekking poles are not a bad idea. Make sure to bring water on the hike as well as a snack. Bathrooms and water are available at the trailhead.
MEETING LOCATION: Trailhead Staging Area
Limit 20 participants. To register, please email Ranger Derik at derik.rodgers@maricopa.gov with your name, phone number and number of people attending. If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please email back ASAP so those on the waiting list may be contacted. Registration for this program will close on 2/8/24.
