🎃 Phoenix Herpetological Sanctuary: Gators and Ghouls

A family event that is designed to provide a safe place for some trick-or-treating, animal interactions and FAMILY FUN!!  The property will be open for guests to walk around to each station at their leisure.

We encourage everyone to dress up!!

When: 6pm to 8pm

  • Saturday October 21st
  • Saturday October 28th

Where: North Scottsdale, the address will be emailed to once registered

What to expect:

-NEW: Mini “Haunted” House – Save Clem the Alligator!

  • Guests will travel 2 or 3 at a time into the “swamp”
  • They have to rescue Clem the alligator, one small inflatable animal bracelet (to keep) and bring it back to the educator at the front!
  1. This area will have latex-free BALLOONS that might pop
  2. This will NOT be a scary area
  3. There is NO RAMP into this area

-Mini Candy/goodie bag decorations (goodies of all types will be available for various diet restrictions)

-Professional Photographer – Attendees will get an email follow-up with a link to see the photos from the whole event.

-Feeding demonstrations
-Kids Costume Contest

Once the sun goes down, you can borrow a flashlight to find the alligators and crocodiles from their reflective eyeshine!

Planned Itinerary Includes:
5:30 pm: Check-In, get flashlights
6- 8pm: Petting Zoo/Interactions in the Classroom

6-8pm: Haunted House,Games, Face painting, Silly Slimy Booth
6:10pm: Crocodile feeding & Venomous snake feeding

6:45pm: Crocodile/Alligator feeding & Venomous snake feeding

7pm: Kid’s Costume Contest

7:30pm: Crocodile/Alligator feeding & Venomous snake feeding

8pm: Time to go home, thank you for visiting!

This is not meant to be a scary event – it’s fun, but for some people, the snakes might be a little creepy =)  But not to worry, we can help them overcome that!
