Yavapai College: Science, Mathematics & the Nature of Consciousness

Students will investigate whether consciousness is 1) An accidental byproduct of biological complexity, 2) A fundamental property of the universe, or 3) The very fabric from which reality is constructed. Each week we’ll watch and discuss videos that examine modern physics and mathematics attempts to define the nature of consciousness. Like Carl Sagan often said, “We just don’t know!”
