How big is the universe—and how small are we within it? Join us for an exciting journey through the incredible scale of the cosmos, beginning with the tiny world of atoms and expanding outward to planets, stars, solar systems, black holes, galaxies, and beyond!
Included is an interactive demonstration, where we will scale familiar objects up and down to help visualize just how enormous—and surprisingly tiny—the objects in our universe really are.
We’ll finish our cosmic adventure with a hands-on craft: “Galaxy in a Jar!” Create your own colorful miniature galaxy to take home while reflecting on the enormous universe we’ve explored together.
Come ready to wonder, explore, and see the universe from a whole new perspective!
