Arizona State University: The brain hates losing (and other news from neuroeconomics)

Neuroeconomics is a new synthesis that seeks to understand and causally influence brain mechanisms that underlie computation during economic decisions. This lecture will discuss how aversion to loss and our emotional response to losing events can explain aspects of consumer purchases, stock trading, and sports.
