Maricopa County Parks and Recreation: Night Hike

Join Ranger Derik for a moderate to difficult hike up about 1.5 miles of Ford Canyon Trail while learning about the Sonoran Desert ecosystem and the White Tank Mountains. The hike will be about 3 miles round trip and will involve rocky and uneven surfaces. Please bring plenty of water and snacks, and wear sturdy footwear and make sure to pack a flashlight with fresh or extra batteries. Restrooms are available at trailhead.
MEETING LOCATION: Area 9 Trailhead
Limit 20 participants. To register, please call the Visitor Center at 602-506-2930 ext. 5 with your name, phone number and number of people attending. If you find you cannot attend a program after you have registered, please call the Nature Center ASAP so we may contact those on the waiting list. Registration ends 10/24/23
