Monday, August 25th marks the 109th anniversary of the National Park Service. Where did the idea of having National Parks come from? Who were the early leaders? How did the park system expand and grow through the years? And how were and are Native Voices heard in the past and today?
Come join Ranger Doug for a look back into the history of America’s number one public conservation organization.
Nighttime temperatures on the South Rim can be quite cool, even in summer. You are encouraged to bring warm layers of clothing.
