Outstanding Youth Recognized
The team at SciTech Institute celebrates two students selected as district winners in The Outstanding Phoenix Youth Leader of the Year program with the City of Phoenix.
The program “recognizes and honors the outstanding achievements of young people, enhances the perception of youth and raises community awareness of the positive contributions of youth. Out of hundreds of applicants, 16 are selected as district winners.”
CSO Nikhil of North High School and CSO Lauren at Betty H. Fairfax High School were recognized as Outstanding Phoenix Youth Leaders. Lauren was also selected as OPYL of the year!
We celebrate and thank CSO Lauren for being a part of the Arizona CSO program since the start in 2015. We are honored to have shared 7 years of your leadership journey and look forward to remaining connected with you as you transition to Stanford University. The CSO Alumni Association is excited to grow the network, too!
Congratulations to both Chief Science Officers for your outstanding commitment to #STEM, your personal leadership journey and the future of Arizona. Well deserved Lauren and Nikhil!
