Arizona Game and Fish Department: Focus Wild Arizona Activity Sheets - Mountain Lions
In order to catch their prey, mountain lions need special skills or adaptations.
One of these adaptations is their remarkable jumping ability. In fact, mountain lions can jump up in the air about 15 feet and cross a distance of 45 feet … in one leap!
Focus Wild Arizona Activity Sheets: From 2006-2013, each issue of the Department’s Arizona Wildlife Views magazine featured a new education article. These articles were intended for younger children and include some vocabulary and a fun activity. All of these articles are now available on our website.
