Yuma County Library District: The Lorax Tree STEAM Challenge

This STEAM activity was inspired by the book, The Lorax written by Dr. Seuss.

In The Lorax, we learn why trees are essential to our environment, the air we breathe, and why pollution is not good for us. The objective of the activity is to build your own truffula tree and see how tall you can build it, great for hand dexterity and practice counting for the little ones. The program is best suited for children ages 0-6, with parents or guardian supervision. First come first served, as space is limted.
