Yavapai County Free Library District: Tween Minecraft Book Club

Tweens ages 9-12 will read chapters from the title each week on their own. When they show up to the Book Club, they will read a chapter together, discuss, and have a brief writing exercise. Then the fun begins:

Participants will use their notes and create the world of the book IN MINECRAFT!

For this program, participants will be reading Percy Jackson and the Olympians #1: The Lightning Thief. Join Percy as he and his friends travel from Camp Half-Blood to the gates of the Underworld (located in a recording studio in Hollywood) and back, as they try to clear Percy’s name uncover who stole Zeus’s Master Bolt.
