Yavapai County Free Library District: Master Gardener – Super El Niño

Join us at Prescott Valley Public Library on Thursday, October 22, 2026, from 5:30-6:45PM for Super El Niño.

Join us for a Master Gardener class exploring Yavapai County weather and the climate patterns that shape our growing seasons. Participants will learn the difference between El Niño and La Niña, how larger climate cycles like the Pacific Decadal Oscillation and El Niño Southern Oscillation can influence local weather, and what historical super El Niños can teach us. The class will also cover current conditions and what gardeners may expect heading into 2026–2027.
