Yavapai College: Learn to Sew – Full Size Apron & Potholders

Learning to sew as a teen should be about making fun and useful items you can show off to your friends! This hands on class teaches how to safely operate a sewing machine, understand common sewing vocabulary and the basics of using a pattern. We will be making a full length apron & matching potholder.
Students will need to bring with them: 2 yards of main fabric AND 2 yards of accent fabric, along with one spool of matching, all-purpose 100% cotton thread. All fabric should be 100% cotton, non-stretch (ex: quilting cottons). Sewing machines & other supplies will be provided.
