The Verde Valley Archaeology Center & Museum (VVAC) acknowledges the important contributions of teachers. One way to recognize this is by offering free admission to the museum through during June and July.

The VVAC will also offer a free class to provide teacher aid material, especially 3rd through 5th grade, classes. The session will also introduce Project Archaeology Arizona, the award winning program that is an approved resource for Arizona Department of Education Social Studies Instruction. Project Archaeology offers a fully developed 3-5th grade curriculum that uses archaeological inquiry to foster understanding of past and present cultures, improve social studies and science education and enhance citizenship education to help preserve our archaeological legacy.
