Town of Gilbert: Propagating Houseplants – Basics

This class covers fundamental techniques for propagating houseplants, including taking stem cuttings, rooting them in water or soil, and caring for the new plants.
Participants will learn about various propagation methods, the tools required for successful propagation, and troubleshooting common problems encountered during the process. The course also discusses the differences between basic and advanced propagation techniques, helping attendees determine the appropriate method based on the plant type and desired outcome. This class is designed to help plant enthusiasts expand their collection and improve their propagation skills, whether they are beginners or more experienced gardeners.
 
A $10 supply fee will be collected by the instructor at the beginning of class.
