Town of Gilbert: One Bird at a Time – Egrets (#34186)

Join Arizona Master Naturalist, Kathleen McCoy, on an journey to explore the birds of the Riparian Preserve, one bird at a time. Each class will focus on a different type of bird you can find in the Preserve. Learn interesting facts about theses incredible creatures, participate in family friendly activities, and then go on a guided bird walk to find the species of the day in action. This class is perfect for beginning or experienced birders of all ages.

Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Please dress for the weather, bring water, and wear sun protection, including a hat. Bring binoculars if they are available to you. The first portion of the class is indoors, followed by a walk up to 1 mile in length.
