Rio Salado Audubon Center: Saturday Morning Guided Birding

Join our local bird enthusiasts for a guided bird walk through the Rio Salado habitat!

These walks are for everyone: experts, novices, and people who have never gone birding in their entire life.

What to Know Before You Go:

  • Bring water and wear sunscreen and shoes for walking.
  • Groups usually travel slowly, over varying terrain including cement sidewalks, gravel paths, and dirt trails. Participants should expect to walk between 1-2 miles total.
  • Binoculars and field guides are available to borrow.
  • Please meet inside the Center at least 5–10 minutes prior to the 8 a.m. departure time.
  • Restroom facilities will be available for use at the center.
  • This event is FREE, although donations to support educational programs are always appreciated.
