Pinal County Library District: Computer Basics

If the internet baffles you and you don’t know what the E in email stands for, this class is for you! Each week we build on skills taught the week before, and you’ll be surfing the web and emailing with confidence in just 8 weeks. If you’ve never touched a mouse that doesn’t have ears, then you need this class. The general schedule for each series will run as follows:

Class #1: Meet the Computer

Class #2: Cyber Security – Best Browser for You

Class #3: Cyber Security – Phishing/Identity Theft

Class #4 & 5: Intro to Email

Class #6 & 7: Exploring Google

Class #8: Overflow and Review

**This program uses Windows-based machines (not Apple) and explores the Google suite of software (G-mail, Google Drive, etc.).  It will not explore other email/software clients (Yahoo, Outlook, iCloud, etc.).

**Please be aware that participants who repeatedly “no show” for programs may have registrations for other future events cancelled.  Please cancel or otherwise notify the library if you cannot attend**
