Pima County Public Library: Meet the Neighbors
June 30 @ 10:30 am - 11:30 am
Free
Learn why our desert is so diverse and why diversity is good for us, then meet a few of the animals that live in our biodiverse region! Experts from the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum will speak about the unique desert that surrounds us, accompanied by some animal friends.
Ask most people to describe a “desert” and you’ll likely hear words like dry, hot, and dusty. The Sonoran Desert defies stereotypes with a great variety of plants, animals and ecosystems.
Our program capacity is limited to 35. To ensure space for everyone, please limit your group size to eight or fewer.
Tickets will be given out 30 minutes before program start time.
